Ashley Wood's Desert Rat Bertie... DEPLOYED!
Well, the poll for whether or not I should open Bertie officially closed last night... the results were 100% in favour of opening him so, here's the official un-boxing in all it's glory!
After tearing open the clear plastic wrapping I removed the sleeve (which featured some wicked Ashley Wood artwork), inside this sleeve was a 'clamshell' package (again with more cool Ash Wood artwork and WWR branding), which held the two blister packs containing Bertie and all his accessories...
I have to say that the attention to detail, paint quality, build and articulation of this toy is second to none and has far surpassed my expectations, for those of you who thought I was crazy for making the purchase, this is what my Desert Rat Bertie has to say...
worth every penny in my opinion!
Desert Rat Bertie...

When is your other son set to arrive?
;) Should be here by the end of June...
These type of toys are meant to be played with and put on display. It won't affect their value in the future if they are out of the box. Just give them a dusting once and a while!
Oh, and guess what - we are anticipating the arrival of a Dirty Deeds Bertie as well!!!! After we saw that you had ordered both of them, Chris decided to do a bit of toy shuffle to make room for a Bertie in the collection.
I love your unboxing documentation! Be careful though, toys are like crack.
WOW, that's cool!
cool guy you lucky!
Thank you for this photograph is impressive.
I envy you.
Thanks Mister X! If you liked this set, just you wait until the rest of my WWR platoon arrives!
these things are awsome, but i was wondering if you could help me. i'm trying to model these in 3D, so i could make a short animation with them.
the problem is i need a good front/side/back shot to model from, and i cant afford them either. so what i'm asking if you could take the 3 pictures for me at a large resolution and post them so i can use them for referance?
