
I came across these a while back... I had filed them away in a folder and forgot all about them! The above Jupiter image was taken in 1979 by Voyager 1. It's an image of the planet's subtle, swirling atmosphere - kinda reminds me of a Van Gogh painting. There are some amazing images of planets and moons and all types of astral imagery - take a minute to check 'em all out! See the original postings via Wired and CNET.

Kinda reminds me of some of the experimental animation work I saw.
